Figuring out my plans for next year and enjoying another summer on the Jersey Shore!

ABOUT ME

I'm attempting to exhaust myself in the glorious pursuit of life. I'm from northern New Jersey, just outside of New York City, and just graduated from the University of Vermont in Burlington where I studied Anthropology and Global Studies. In the summers I beach lifeguard in Long Beach Island on the beautiful Jersey Shore. I studied abroad in 2013 in Argentina and China, but traveled to many other places. So at this point in my life I am from nowhere but feel strongly about many places. I am open, outgoing, and friendly. I enjoy laughter, long conversations, adventures, learning about other cultures and languages, politics, excellent cocktails, wine, and beer, and most importantly the beach.

PHILOSOPHY

Our lives are an eclectic assortment of Jack Kerouac quotes. Do what you like and like what you do. I am not in this world to live up to your standards and you are not here to live up to mine, and if we meet somewhere in the middle, it's beautiful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed through Argentina and China in 2013 and am now back stateside ready to pay it forward/back to the world for giving me such a fantastic experience!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meetings with CS Buenos Aires and some surfing in Argentina. A very enjoyable experience! Now that I'm back stateside I have hosted surfers from the USA, Canada, Germany, Poland, and France!

Intereses

A little of everything is always good to experience. I like to read, listen to music, travel, learn about new cultures and languages, and meet new people!

Música, películas y libros

I am open to all types of movies in books. Some of my favorites are:
Movies: The Motorcycle Dairies, Matilda, Angels and Demons, Food Inc., Vantage Point. As far as TV goes, The Sopranos is the greatest show ever created.
My favorite authors are: Robert Frost, Sylvia Plath, Paulo Cohelo, Billy Collins, Geoffrey Chaucer, and Agatha Christe.

Lived abroad in 2013 in Argentina and China!! Went scuba diving on Sipidan Island in Malaysian Borneo! Such incredible marine life!!!

I can teach you how to swim and how to speak English and Spanish and can talk endlessly about (red) wine.
