About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have the time of my life my whole life!

ABOUT ME

Well, ALL about me... It is a little difficult to write everything isn't? But I will try to give you an impression of me...

First of all I will describe myself as a super social person. I am a very out going and open minded and I really enjoy to meet and get to know people - all kind of people. I really like to talk with and TO people, haha.

The work have had during my education has always been something related to people. Different kind of social work; in the normal and the special area, with old people and with children. I have tried a little bit of teaching as well. I enjoy that kind of work and the challenges it contains.

When I have a gol I will fight for reaching it - sometimes I can even get a little too perfectionistic! I am working on that :-)

By the way, I am not at all perfectionistic when it comes to tecnical stuff. I am that kind of person who has no system in her files on the computer. Futher I can mention that I intalled my computer in norwegen, and spelled my lastname wrong on Facebook, OesterkjaerhuD. And I have prefered to keep it that way, haha.

My big passion is to travel. I love it. I love to meet and get to know people from different cultures. I love to see fantastic sights and handle all kind of situations you can bomb into out there. Travelling also gives perspective and better understandness of the world and the people who live in it, and I find that very important...

Others could be "The Lord of the Rings", "La Vita é bella","Breaking the Waves", "Dancer in the Dark", "City of God"... Futher I always enjoy a Danish such as "Festen", "Elsker dig for evigt" and "Bænken" ect...

Music:
I enjoy a lot of different music such as; Madonna, Bob Marley, Jamiroquai, ABBA, Veto, Jack Johnson, Macy Gray, Robbie Williams, Tool, Tv2, Queen, R.E.M, Justin Timberlake, The Beatles, Bjørk ect.

Books:
At the moment I prefere Crimes such as: "The Iceprinsess", Camilla Läckberg, "A faint cold fear", Karin Slaughter, "The Da Vinci Code", Dan Brown. But I also enjoyed "Radiator", Jan Sonnergaard, "1984", George Orwell. And of course all Lonely Planets, hehe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did 3 bungy jumps and a skydive in New Zealand four years ago, it was the most crazy thing I've ever done. It was GREAT :-) On my trip to South America I walked a jaguar in Bolivias jungle, took care of an ozelot, swam with a puma and shared bed with a monkey, unforgetable experiences. Besides that I swam with sharks and turtles in Galapagos, Ecuador. I stayed a week with an indean family i the jungle of Ecuador. The family was amazing, and lived a very different life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I find that people who are very critical and "creating" prejudice towards others actually have low self-worth and a narrow world-perspective. So they do it, so they might feel a little better with them selves...

Sometimes unfortunately so true: "The history book on the shelf is always repeating it self" (ABBA)

So we have to remember to: "Get up stand up, stand up for your right. Get up stand up, don´t give up the fight. Life is your right" (Bob Marley).

Because what would life be without trying stuff: Hvad ville livet være, hvis vi ikke havde mod til at forsøge noget?" (Vincent van Gogh 1853-1890)

Who can tell me or you what we can do or what we are?
"Jeg er, hvad jeg vil". (Athur Schopenhauer 1788-1860)

Mhh, what has been said about lions..."Hvis løver kunne tale, ville vi ikke kunne forstå dem." (Ludwig Wittgenstein 1889-1951)
