My name is Riley, it's nice to meet you :)

I'm super positive, curious, outgoing and enthusiastic person...I love the thrill of meeting new people and never knowing what to expect. Officially, I'm an Australian living in Milan to study design for one year, but my main excitement comes from putting myself in new situations, always saying yes, and generally just approaching life with a lot of curiosity.

I love talking to people and finding out new perspectives I've never considered... I find languages, culture and religion endlessly fascinating. I love the kind of conversations that I still think about days later, because someone revealed something completely new to me. I really love to learn!

Finally, I really want to put my efforts into changing the world for the better, in any way that I can.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to Couchsurf to meet people and immerse myself in the life of the place I am in. I've realised over the years that my favourite destinations always end up being the ones where I have met local people, and really felt like I got to understand the place that I was in.

I also think it's really important to take part in communities such as Couchsurfing, as they are a way to practice sharing, openness and generosity, which we don't always get so many opportunities to do in modern society.
