About me:
Live with my partner in the mountains on the outskirts of Chico in Northern California. We work most Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & spend the rest of the week building our home and enjoying the surrounding nature Northern California has to offer. I enjoyed traveling in my youth & love interacting with most travelers who are generally open minded, respectful, and adventurous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It’s been a while since I traveled through Europe, where I utilized couchsurfing for the first & last time (as well as once on the East Coast). Now that I have a steadier routine I’d love the chance to pay it forward, as my former hosts really helped spare some expenses and bring joy & comfort & friendship during months of traveling solo.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I believe my profile says I’ve had 9 couchsurfing experiences, and I’d say that’s about right. One in Ireland, a few in Italy, France, and Spain, and one on the East coast once I came back to the states. All of which were great & I’m extremely grateful for.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch movies more than I’d like to. There are so many amazing movies out there it’s hard not to relax to one playing in the background. I particularly have had a tendency for thrillers/horrors although I’d like to get away from filling my mind with those tbh. Lately I’ve been watching more comedy and documentaries thanks to my partner who is a wonderful

I’ve always loved music. I used to play guitar as well, though it’s been less and less over the years; so I particularly enjoy live music. I love to sing in the car too. Let’s talk music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve traveled solo in my early twenties for months at a time. I got my license in registered nursing. I’m learning how to bake sourdough.

My partner has a wealth of knowledge about beautiful nature around Northern California, as well as outdoor equipment like fishing poles, etc.
We enjoy learning anything outdoors, cooking, and we like discussions about life.
