CURRENT MISSION

I am in Florianopolis, Brazil, to learn Portuguese. I have many Brazilian friends at home and i would like to be able to communicate with them better. I am also here to practice surfing and kite boarding and have a good time. I am here in Floripa until Feb 27th. I will be attending Portuguese school in Barra de Lagoa from Janurary 9-Feb 17th.

Right now I am new to using couch surfing, and am looking to meet people and make new friends and have somewhere to stay close to my Portuguese School while im in Florianopolis. but i would like to be able to continue to hosting once i get home back to seattle and have a place i can do so. :-)

i will watch anything besides reality television.
*psyche/rock , industrial, ebm and edm music, but am also stuck in the 90's and love anything i can do good kareoke to! im not a fan of county. One of my favorite bands of all time is Placebo.

*malcom gladwell is my favorite author. i love reading things that inspire and break things apart. or books on spiritualism.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

been living all over the United States, traveled thailand, peru, colombia, ecuador, mexico, Canada, Costa Rica and now Brazil . I spend a good portion of my years in Alaska! I spent 1 month living in the Amazon in Peru with a shaman. It was life changing. :-)

i love to teach, in fact i was a gymnastics coach for many years of my life. i like to go and see places, i like to share, but also find it very valuable to be alone.
