I may not be fluent in Nihongo, but growing up mostly in the Philippines, I’ve mastered the fine art of tsismis and dodging slippers. Being both Japanese and Filipino means I get the best of both worlds—ramen, sushi, adobo and sinigang, sakura and bullet trains also jeepneys here, efficiency is a must in japan and... well the infamous(among locals), it's more fun in the Philippines tagline!

Sometimes, I do have a mini existential crisis about my mixed heritage, but at the end of the day, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love learning about different cultures(for now it's mostly reading or watching thru vlogs or articles posted online) and want to start exploring places beyond my usual routine. Chasing stars and stripes soon....like next month!

For now, I’ll be taking small steps, embracing the journey, hopefully collecting cool stories along the way and living my life as best and quietly(maybe sometimes chaotically) as I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I saw, or more like monitored a childbirth during clerkship, I was completely at a loss for words. It was both intimidating and amazing at the same time. Like, one second, there’s just chaotic screaming and stuff, then the next, boom—new human. Lol! Miracle of life, indeed.

Just learning about different cultures, languages, and perspectives—and I also want to share my own, whether it’s about my background, my experiences, or the random quirks that come with being mixed.
As I've recently transitioned into aesthetics medicine, I get to combine science and artistry, helping people feel more confident in their skin. I enjoy sharing my knowledge, debunking myths, and constantly learning new techniques to refine my practice(and maybe a few good skincare routines along the way).

Honestly, I don’t think I have that much life experience yet, but I can definitely share what I’ve learned so far—whether it’s about juggling two cultures, making the most of 'bahala na' energy, or helping people look and feel their best.

I can’t promise I have all the answers, but I can offer some solid skincare advice(simplicity is key), random cultural trivia, and maybe even a few life lessons—like how to survive on pure vibes and caffeine alone(insert little teardrop here). Also I can whip up a good home cooked meal! Japanese/Filipino/Ilocano foodie here! Cooking is one of the things I actually enjoy sharing with others—because if there’s one universal truth(mostly from my Lola/grandma lol), it’s that good food makes everything better!

In return, I’m always eager to learn from others, whether it’s about new places, new ideas, or just new ways to make life a little more fun and exciting!
