About Me

I love meeting people from around the world. You're welcome to visit me in my sweet small village in Northern Thailand. It makes life more interesting, and I get to practice my English.

I live in a small farming village in Wieng Sa District in the Nan Provence. It's surrounded by farm fields and jungle. My home is located about 45 minutes south of the city of Nan. https://goo.gl/maps/a2jnAPiS35E2

I am an English teacher at a Thai kindergarten. I work at the school Monday through Friday. I've worked here for 7 years and love to teach!

I am free to show you around on the weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. If you would like to sing songs and help the children learn English, you may be able to visit the school with me for a morning. For fun I like to go camping, go out dancing, watch movies, eat Thai BBQ, swim, ride bikes, take long walks, travel, and cook. We can go visit sites in Nan or Wieng Sa together if we run out of things to do in my village.

I live with my parents. They are both farmers who grow rice, corn, fruit, and run a rubber tree farm. You're welcome to help them and the other villagers with farming jobs during the day. They are kind people who will take good care of you. You can join my family and I for all of our meals.

Everyone in my village is very friendly, and includes much of my extended family. If you are respectful and kind, you will make many friends. There's lot of opportunity to help cook delicious Thai food, play with the children in the village, and spend time with the local people. Most people in my village only speak Thai.

This is a quiet place, and there is not much around that you can walk to. I do not have internet at my house, but there is good cellular reception. You may be able to ride one of our motorbikes if it is not being used. You're also welcome to bring your own car, bicycle, or motorcycle. There are some amazing mountains and national parks nearby that you can visit with a vehicle.
