CURRENT MISSION
To explore strange new planets
ABOUT ME
I live in the superficial LaLaLand of Los Angeles. It is a City of Angels, but you have to look deep beneath many layers of porcelain veneer to find them.
Deep down I'm a total nerd and spiritual guru, but most people wont see that at first because my social mask is quite strong. If you are a deep person of intellectual, and cultural substance (which you probably are or we wouldn't be having this conversation), I may let you peel back a few layers of my onion... or better yet, my soul may be completely transparent to you...
My company rents Harley-Davidson motorcycles to international tourists (primarily Europeans), and I sell Vespa scooters on the west side of L.A. near Venice Beach...
Being in business in L.A. means, I have a scrillion acquaintances, and only a small handful of "close friends". Most of my friends are eclectic artists, musicians, and European, world travelers.
One of my favorite charities to work with is Best Buddies... They help foster friendships, and social interaction for people with intellectual disabilities... Downs Syndrome... We're planning a major art show for next March titled; The Art of Friendship. www.bestbuddies.org
I like red wine, but I'm not a heavy drinker...
I live an 80% Raw diet, but I'll eat just about anything, especially if its exotic, like pizza an' cheezeburgers...
I'm pretty well balanced in life, but I've been known to have moments of neurotic craziness, which is always fun to laugh at afterwards.
I'm not a great musician, but my Taylor Guitar is so beautiful inside and out, she is most likely the one woman I could never leave...
I've been accused of being overly verbose with excessive use of adjectives. I never use "Quotations" too much... and I'm actually pretty fucking funny, but reading through everything I've written here you'd have no idea that was true...
PHILOSOPHY
You are the observer, the observed, and the process of observation...
I believe in trying to evolve into a better person tomorrow than you were yesterday... nothing has brought me closer to this goal than the number of times I've failed to accomplish it...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2003 I rode my Harley 6000 miles from Anchorage Alaska to Milwaukee, WI. The entire trip never ceased to be amazing from start to finish...
I spoke at Flip Wilson's funneral... Flip introduced me to spirituality... before that I was an agnostic. We smoked pot together a few times, and I laughed, and laughed and laughed... He was very funny and a good friend.
When I was 21 I delivered Arnold Schwartzenneger's Harley to his house... he gave me a pat on the head...
I once let another salesman take "my up" because I was sick of talking to "time wasters" all day long... The dirty old man in the trench coat turned out to be Neil Diamond and he bought 3 Harleys from the other salesman.
I just realized that the instructions were to list ONE amazing Thing...
Teach, Learn, Share
I have had three specific transcendental experiences in the past ten years since I started meditating. I floated in the Quantum soup of silent, pregnant, nothingness for what felt like an eternity... It changed my life... I can't tell you how to get there yourself, but I can show you the way.
I'm pretty good at tuning a carburator, which is a wasted skill now that everything is electronic fuel injected. If you have an old Vespa or Harley that doesn't run, I can probably get it running...
I'm actually a good cook... my favorite thing to cook is scrambled eggs... secret ingredient... LOTS OF BUTTER!!!
I love language, learning, and being exposed to cultural diversity. I prefer to learn the "Slang" of a foreign language versus proper diction.
