Hello, my name is Rish and I’m a Professional Pickleball Player! I've been playing tennis since I was 5 years old and I've traveled across the country to play at different venues. I played D2 tennis at Michigan Tech and I now play Professional Pickleball. I've been vegetarian my entire life and I'm always interested to see what kind of vegetarian/vegan options are being offered in different cities. I grew up along the West Coast from Seattle, WA to Orange County, CA. I've been to Mexico, India, and Canada internationally and visited 20 states so far in the United States.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel a lot to play pickleball and I really enjoy traveling to new places, but even more so, meeting new people, having great conversations, and learning about a city's culture from natives. The people I've met in the community are always friendly and I've had some really great conversations and experiences with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music; Bollywood, Rap, Phonk, Classical, and Country to name a few. I love the Harry Potter series and specifically in the Marvel Universe, the X-Men series. I love to read and my favorite series would be The Maze Runner. I'm a major MMA fan and I haven't missed a single UFC event since 2021. I attended a UFC Fight Night in 2022 and it was one of the best experiences I've had.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If there are courts nearby, I would be happy to give you a pickleball lesson! I can share my experiences during the pandemic of being locked down in California and not having a high school graduation ceremony. I've also had experiences traveling to rural cities in India where I've seen extreme poverty as well as my travels to Mexico and across the U.S.
