About Me

I am from the eastern part of India and am presently pursuing my masters in public policy from National Univ of Singapore. I am very interested in policy discussions which affect the life of common people. I am an mechanical engineer by profession and am very passionate about clean energy especially solar. I love travelling alone and like meeting the locals and try experiencing the local culture and food. I have traveled a bit both in South East Asia and Europe and would love to meet travelers.

Presently, I am in Singapore and am in my final semester here. While I may not be able to host people but would love to meet fellow travelers when they are in Singapore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe meeting local residents is the most important aspect of travelling to a new city/country. Staying in hotels does not serve that purpose well. I prefer to travel alone and couchsurfing is the best place which can help me find the right locals who are happy to host people who plan to know more about the city, local culture, history, food etc.
