Hola!

I'm 26 year old young man from Estonia and have started my first grand backpacking trip. Starting from Yucatan Mexico I'm planning to visit every country all the way to Argentina. Why I'm doing this? I needed to break my routine and introduce some change into my life. So thats why I decided to do something totally different and hopefully combine my interests of travelling, having new experiences, exploring new cultures, hiking and moving closer to my ever long goal of learning Spanish language. Hopefully by the end of this trip I have achieved all these parts on a grand scale.

As a person, I'm eternally enthusiastic, very excitable and with a positive look on life. I really love all kinds of new experiences, socialising, meeting new people and food. Most of my life I have loved sports. I have some experience in basketball, volleyball, swimming, weightlifting and most of all in track & field (sprints) and calisthenics. Sometimes I like to jump head in first to new things and then see how I cope or wether I like it - impulsive, but within reason and social acceptability :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My trip in El Sur has started in hotels and hostels. While this is good and fun and allows me to explore the surrounding areas I feel that I'm missing out in something important - the locals on a more close level. I would really love to see how each culture I'm visiting really lives, see the ins and outs of local life and hopefully leave my hosts something of my culture and my own spirit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Endured the life of a infantry man as a conscript in Estonian Defence Forces - much fun, but quite hard and challenging.
