Hello!
We are a couple - Rita & Cal - and we have walked away from our jobs this year to travel Europe, something we always spoke about and have finally taken the plunge! Please do not be discouraged that we are not accepting guests, this is only obviously because we are travelling abroad this year.

Rita is a high school teacher who specialises in Psychology and Dance. Cal is a Digital Marketing Coordinator with experience in hospitality and the health and fitness industry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Together we are an outgoing and friendly couple who are excited to travel Europe and not only learn from the breath-taking and history-rich sites that we will encounter, but also to learn and experience life with locals, which is hopefully you! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Together our Music tastes are very eclectic. Rita likes anything from 90s music, hip hop, top 40 and new/indie music from the Australian radio station triple j. Her all time favourite artist is Justin Timberlake, don't judge! :) Cal enjoys music from most genres including blues, soul, funk, rock and hip hop.

We both enjoy watching movies, Rita usually indulges on a little too much popcorn!

Rita has been in a casual book club with her girlfriends reading anything from classics to recent-sellers. Cal has a kindle and reads anything from Viktor Frank to Tim Ferriss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have left our jobs and are travelling throughout Europe for the majority of 2017.

And as a couple we have sky dived together in Byron Bay, near the Gold Coast in Australia. If it was not for Cal, it is something that Rita probably would have never done!

Teach, Learn, Share

Rita is very open to teaching you some basic dance moves - she used to be a "Zumba" instructor! :)

Cal is very open to assisting you with any web/technology related questions you might have. He can also assist in writing you fitness regime or provide nutritional assistance.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Rita has an italian background and can share some of these cultures with you.

We are happy to provide assistance around your house with duties such as cleaning, cooking and shopping if you need.
