Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and show you my hometown. I'm working, so the showing around will only be possible during the weekend, but you can stay any time you want.

Interests

I love the outdoors and I love hiking long trails with my backpack and tent.
I like knitting, I enjoy creating things with my hands, working in the garden, painting walls, trying out new ideas.
Reading is my way to "log off" from reality.
I love music, I'm a beginner at the piano and guitar, would love to learn!

Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Arcade Fire, Mumford&Sons, The new Pornographers, the list would be long, just listen to the best radio station in the world "Radio Paradise" (internet radio) and you will hear what I like
I like going to the movies and there are some series I watch
One movie I especially like is "Walk the line"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked 200 miles through the Sierra Nevada in 3 weeks with everything I need on my back.
I was on stage with a speaking choir in our theater in "Macbeth" as an amateur in a professional production.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm teaching introductory courses to programming, so if you are interested, I can teach you, too!
I would like to learn Spanish, to play blues, Yoga ...

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you let me stay at your place, I might knit you some socks :)
