About Me

I am 29.
I am Queer as in lgbtq. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I grew up in a smallish town in northern Michigan located on Lake Superior.

I like spending time outside in nature, gardening, swimming, walking in the woods, traveling, cooking, hanging out with friends and family. I am interested in alternative education models, learning an alternative healing method called CranioSacral therapy and working on becoming a badass healer.

I am a vegetarian, but dont need any special treatment and i Can bring food for myself/to share with hosts.

I am easy-going, and can get along with all types of folks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing so that I can do a bit of traveling and meet some local people in the places I go. I want to meet new people, and see things "tourists" wouldn't maybe see. It is more interesting to spend time at someone's house among their friends and family, than to stay in a hotel and maybe not meet anyone. Also, I appreciate that couch surfing makes traveling more affordable.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Don't have any! But it's been recommended. Well actually I have met several people who were visiting as couch surfers and that's been good.

I have done a fair amount of traveling and have stayed with friends of friends, but not through couch surfing. I have lived in houses that are friendly to hosting travelers, and touring bands, so I have done my share of hosting in that way.

I've participated in the exchange of providing strangers with friendly places to stay, and trusted a stranger or two to give me a safe place to stay. I have hitch hiked and picked up hitch hikers. I like to foster the idea that if we share resources and take care of eachother, we will learn more and be stronger for it. And we can all save money in our travels.
