I just want to offer a place to stay for anyone who wants a safe and casual place to land and take off from.

ABOUT ME

As previously mentioned, middle aged, been married, now solo, have 3 children who are living their own young adult lives. I have also travelled a little to various parts of the world. I work with people with severe physical disbilities and travel often along the coast of the Bay of Plenty here in New Zealand.

PHILOSOPHY

I do not have any religious persuasion. I live my life with the hope that I might taste as much of what is worth tasting, and in the process to do no harm. I firmly believe in "what goes around, comes around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No previous experience of "couch surfing", but have been invited into homes in other places. Have also had visitors from people met in other locations.

People, cultures (without the politics) music without any preference for genre, new foods, good red wine,
travel. And anything I can learn really.

I like good music. No preferences other than it is music! Never decided about movies. Long time since I had time or inclination to read books, but I have never forgotten the Gormenghast Trilogy.

The most amazing thing I have done is to survive a trek in Nepal. Amazing to me because it was something I never expected to do. I have been amazed by so many things I have seen in my travels that I could and would not rate them. The world continues to amaze me!
