ABOUT ME

I'm 36, from Rijeka, Croatia. Spent my childhood on Krk island, and moved to Rijeka with my family when I was 9. I lived in Zagreb for three years during my studies, and lived in New Zealand on working holiday visa.
Now I'm living in wonderful Rijeka again, where I run a free walking tour.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering advices, couch, sightseeing, meals, talk, friendship to a people who come to my country. I wish to get the same when I'm abroad.
When I host, my surfers can expect to have a safe and clean space to sleep in. I expect the same from my hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple of surfers in Zagreb and Rijeka, and had only good experiences with them. I have been hosted and surfed, and will keep hosting (depends on circumstances) and surfing!
For me, CS is the best way to meet new people, to see their hometown and to enjoy a company while in new countries.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

-I still remember how excited I was when I got my first coconut milk in Brazil!
-changing a tyre for the first time ever, in a suspicious part of Cape Town, at 3am, was an experience itself
-when I saw the Sydney Opera and Harbour Bridge for the first time - I was speechless!
-camping in Iceland for a week :-)
-as a kid, I wanted to have a baby sister. got her when I was 21 :) she amazes me every single day :)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you Slavic languages (Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian and Slovenian), as well as a few useful words in Italian.
