Overview
About Me
I'm an American born in New Orleans to a Libyan dad and a Venezuelan mom. I grew up in New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, went to college in Massachusetts, and med school in Kentucky. Now I'm moving to Portland, Maine to begin my medical residency (first year of being a doctor).
I'm outgoing and friendly, a risk-taker, but easygoing. I love adventure and food the most of all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been blessed to meet amazing hosts in the past in all of my travels, so I want to pass on the good fortune to others, as well as meet other wandering souls like myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Omnivore of music, movies and books.
I am haunted by Tolstoy and Faulkner, and for that I love them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On a 2011 bicycle tour of Mediterranean in Spain, France, Morocco, I slept one night on the beach of the northernmost point of Africa and the next night at the southernmost point of Gibraltar.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking: Libyan and Venezuelan food, as well as, of course, "Southern" food from America, but love all authentic food.
