I am someone who is committed to making a positive difference in the world around me. I am an ongoing learner and every experience or challenge I have in life I turn into an opportunity to grow and learn. I love being in love with life. I love to garden, hula hoop, collect, study herbalism, cook healthy and delicious meals. I'm open, honest, playful and joyful. I love to laugh and feed people tasty food.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting, and getting to know people who are traveling. I like to share meals and stories of life experiences, and dreams for the future. I intend to travel more- I'd like to visit cities I've never been to like Austin, TX and stay longer in Nashville, TN.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies that inspire or make me laugh! The most recent movie I saw that I liked is Moonrise Kingdom. I listen to a lot singer song writers, both men and women and I love Kirtan. Feist, Regina Spektor, Anna Vogelzang, Kathleen Edwards, Justin Townes Earl, City and Colour, Band of Horses, the Head and the Heart, Fleet Foxes, Krishna Das and Ragani.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching a hail and rain storm over the great plains of South Dakota. The view from the Moon Temple overlooking the infamous ruins at Machu Piccu in Peru. Skydiving over the cornfields of Illinois.
