I grew up in San Francisco, CA just above the Haight - Ashbury area. I moved to Portland, OR for college, then to New York City and worked with a theater company / as a barista. Now I’m back living in SF, working at a high school, reading books, sitting in parks, riding my bike, etc.

I would say- I participate in couchsurfing by traveling cheaply and enabling others to do the same.

Interests

I spend a lot of time reading- mostly novels- listening to music and visiting cafes. I like oceans and public spaces like aesthetically nice bars, libraries, hotel lobbies...

It is difficult for me to say what my all-time favorites are, so I'll just talk about what I'm currently into:

Movies: The Godfather (1 & 2), Cabaret, Tampopo are just the first four that pop into my head.

Books: Russians- Dostoevsky, Chekhov; Anne Carson.
