I am a European History Professor living in Renton, WA. I enjoy many things and love to share them with visitors to the Pacific Northwest. I teach at Columbia College and take students on our study abroad program to Europe. I both snow ski and water ski. I play ice hockey and racquetball. I enjoy swing dancing in Seattle, rollerblading by the Puget Sound and hiking the Cascade Mountain Range. I fly in small planes serving on an air crew for search and rescue and love sailing on the Puget Sound.

I have a lot of interests and love my city and want to share the truly magical experiences the Pacific Northwest has to offer. like hiking or skiing the cascades to sailing the waters of the Puget Sound, or just swimming playing racquetball.

Interesses

I am involved with a lot of hobbies. I play on a recreational Ice Hockey team the Strange Brews every year. I have flown in an air crew in small planes with the Civil Air Patrol for 16 years. I snow ski, water ski, ice skate, roller blade, swim, play racquetball and tennis. I have sail on the Puget Sound. I do ballroom dancing and have done the Lindy Hop and Swing Dancing for over a decade. I love aviation and military history.
