CURRENT MISSION

Current mission is to explore this vast world and, most importantly, hear the incredible stories of the people who inhabit it. I recently graduated with a B.A. in public relations and am on a mission to live/work in California.

ABOUT ME

35 days is the deadline I gave to myself to move to California. I grew up in Orlando, Florida and went to school at the University of South Florida in Tampa, but knew my next calling was taking me west.

After I got my B.A. in public relations — and having some of the most incredible years of my life while in college — I packed up my litte Jetta and drove out with my mom. I had no guarantees except for a job at a surf shop. I’ve now been living in Orange County since September 2011.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to love and respect others. I like to have fun, and like to learn what other people have to say.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met up with a few people through CouchSurfing and stayed with one person. I haven't hosted yet, but am definitely open to it if the situation works out.

Got a one-way flight to Orange County, California without any idea of what to expect. Didn't know where I was going to live and, incredibly, the 3-month trip was a blast! Camped in San Onofre, biked to my internship, surfed in Ventura, free Switchfoot concert in Encinitas... and the list goes on.
