PHILOSOPHY

I have come to realise that I am a really lucky guy (not in terms of winning prizes) but rather in terms of winning in real life experiences.

I have had the opportunity to receive a world class education at the same time as doing a decent amount of travelling enabling me to get a decent perspective on the world and my life.

I am really grateful for this, as I realise that not everyone is as fortunate as I have been. These things have just kind of happened to me :)

I am aware that as I get older I enjoy my life even more, it seems impossible that my new experiences can improve and top the previous ones, but so far in my life every experience seems to just get better and better. This is not because the actual experience itself is better than the previous one, but rather because I have had previous experiences giving me more wisdom than I previously had allowing me to enjoy the new times with even more perspective and self enjoyment.

For this reason I travel alone, it really enables one to get a grip on ones self, and therefore others.

I hope this is not to mangled to follow, and maybe it needs some more work, but at least I know that I will have more wisdom in time to come to improve on this philosophy!

I look forward to my new opportunities as I am 100% that my life will continue on this seemingly exponential curve of enjoyment!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have recently signed the lease on my very own house, and therefore have an opportunity to give back to the couch surfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed my first couch in the beginning of May 2013 and it couldn't have worked out better. I was really grateful to my first host as he was such a nice guy and helped me out even though I had not been vouched for, or put huge amounts of effort into my profile.

Everyone needs a first step, and I feel like I really scored having a home opened up to me. It was such a good experience I can't wait until the next one!
