About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See as much of the world as I can while I can still pick up and go whenever I want

ABOUT ME

I'm very laid back, very practical. Just finished my first degree in university and am more than ready for a hiatus. I love to travel, and have been very lucky in that I've been able to tag along with family going on international trips. I love meeting new people and exploring new places and cultures. Hopefully I'll be ready to pick up my schooling in Scotland in another year, but for now I'm happy just doing what I please. :) If you want to know more, shoot me a message, I'll be happy to answer questions (within reason!)

PHILOSOPHY

If things work out, celebrate! If not, make a new plan and shut the hell up about the old one. There are few things in life you can't laugh off, and even fewer that should make you take yourself seriously ALL THE TIME. That can cause ulcers you know :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ask me again after I fly back in October:D

Interests

I read, run, draw, crochet, do yoga, and waste hours re-watching my favorite movies and re-reading favorite books. Beyond that, I'm always open to trying new things and picking up new hobbies. And friends, obviously. I really want to learn more languages, but I've had poor luck trying to pick anything up in a classroom. Time to try immersion learning, I think!

Music, Movies, and Books

Brotherhood of the Wolf, the Aliens movies, Indiana Jones, to name a few. If it's not a deliberately depressing movie, I'll give it a shot. Same rule applies to books, but Joe Abercrombie and Kim Harrison are among my favorite authors. For music, it's a song-by-song basis. How can you say you don't like it if you don't know what it sounds like?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Released floating lanterns in Thailand on New Year's and watched the entire sky fill with them.
