One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teaching spanish to women in a 'tzotzil' community in Los Altos Chiapas, Mexico

Absorbing bits and pieces of my own culture, immersed in a completely different world and social dynamics, is one of the most generous experiences I have ever had.

As volunteer I have become much more sensitive to cultures, local traditions, ways of thinking, speaking, expressing and living.

Besides the sensation of being part of something, one of the most important things I have learned is to be proactive, listen attentively and enjoy the moment.
