ABOUT ME

I love life.

I have a lot of energy, I'm pretty ridiculous, and I laugh loudly. Life's too short to pretend like you're not having a good time.

My goal is to eat my way through the planet. I am a vegetarian, but I LOVE trying new foods. (though, sadly, I've found myself to be allergic to shellfish.)

Traveling is what I do best and I make friends easily. I love meeting new people and learning about them and wherever they're from. I'm pretty easy going: a plan is nice, but not necessary. I am respectful of other people's philosophies, politics, homes, and personal space. Wandering is one of my favorite activities. After all, "not all who wander are lost."

PHILOSOPHY

Words I live by come from my favorite author, Kurt Vonnegut:

"There's only one rule that I know of, babies - 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.'"

I'm here to learn about the world from people (some who happen to be other Couchsurfers) and share as much of myself as I am able to. I travel through this world with an open heart and an open mind.

Musica, film e libri

Music - I love it all. Seriously. Everything from death metal and post-rock to classical and jazz to pop music and punk and dubstep...everything. John Cage is my hero. I'm a music theory geek.

Movies: The Princess Bride, Labrynth, anything by David Lynch, The BBC Planet Series, Anchorman, SuperBad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the list can go on and on. I like comedies, I cannot stomach horror movies. I can do some dramas from time to time. Heck, I'll even watch a musical!

Books: Arcana (John Zorn's series), Lord of the Rings, Steppenwolf, Shogun, The Sun Also Rises, Traveling Mercies, Into the Wild, Alice in Wonderland, I'm a Stranger Here Myself, A Walk in the Woods, On the Road, and everything by Kurt Vonnegut. I love poetry and plays, too! Bukowski is my absolute favorite poet.
This list could go on and on. I really enjoy reading.
