ABOUT ME

We're both twenty-three years old and decided to drop whatever we had going and explore the states and figure out where we wanna live next. We're not a couple, but we've been called "non-sexual life partners" and neither of us can really argue that. We're up for anything and excited about everything. Below are more details about us individually.

Heather (Heath): (on right in prof pic) Easy-going and adaptable, adventurous. Has a contagious laugh and enjoys puzzles. "Pretty good artist." Studied in Viterbo, Italy. Likes to draw and paint, being outdoors. Loves pockets.

Meg: (on left in prof pic) is an aspiring performance poet. She enjoys playing acoustic guitar and singing, drawing, laughing and traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

Meg: I'm a passionate person and I try to make a habit of following my impulses. And it's worked out pretty well thus far.

Heath: I like to live life as it comes at me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're new to couchsurfing, I (Meg) learned about it through my former housemates and the couchsurfers we had staying with us. Heather and I are currently on an adventure exploring the Southwest, WWOOFing (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) and volunteering here and there along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before this trip I (Meg) had four or five couchsurfers stay with me at my old place, arranged through my housemate and had good experiences.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After much contemplation, we agree that the most amazing things we've done or seen have been either sensations and emotions or everyday observations of light and color.

Teach, Learn, Share

Meg: If you trust me I can probably give you a hot haircut - I've been doing mine and my friends hair for years and it's a bit of a hobby. Can discuss and debate feminist and queer theory 'til the cows come home, knitting, can give decent stick n' poke tattoos, black belt in Tae Kwon Do

Heath: Can make dream-catchers, has basic home-improvement and power tool knowledge and skills, can crochet, draw anything, play poker, can cook and bake, expert in color theory, "I can make a pencil appear to bend like magic."
