CURRENT MISSION

Just returning from over a month in Colombia. Add this country to your bucket list before everyone discovers the amazing people and beautiful country! This year I will be visiting Morroco, Malta and Scicily. Looking forward to being back near the Mediterranean.

ABOUT ME

I am a young thinking 78 year old, often more comfortable with 30 year old's than those in my own age group. I have travelled through Europe,Turkey, Indonesia, Thailand, Southern Africa, ,Colombia and loved that experience. I have worked as a trainer and teacher of adults. Currently decided to retire and enjoy my passion as a World Traveller.

My wife Leah is my best friend and travel partner, together we make a great team. We love meeting new people and learning about their homeland and travel. We have hosted people in our home in British Columbia, Canada. We have gained wonderful friends by doing that.

Interests

Kyaking, photography,ballroom dancing,reading, hiking in the mountains, skiing,my family 4 children 8 grandchildren. We are both foodies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Enjoyed the Da Vinci Code, the movie wasn't as good as the book. Enjoyed Cassanova and loved Venice. Recently got a kick out of the film, "The Bank of Dave"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dance on the beach on a Balinese island as the sun set with Leah on a special anniversary.

Skin diving in the coral reef among the thousands of colorful fish off the island of Kho Phi Phi.

Enjoyed sharing the spring Equinox with fellow travelers at the ancient Mayan temple of Chichen Itza. Connecting to our 10th century A.D. ancestors who built the amazing Kukulkan pyramid to study the stars

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught massage to many people. Not sure how to share that here. A tip...start in a quiet place, warm the massage oil. Demonstrations are always so much better!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I find my hosts are often fellow travellers and the questions and stories always run to sharing our favourite places and adventures. Add a little beer or wine and great food, the enjoyment rolls on.
