Hi! My name is Rob Bjornson and I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast. I grew up in Minnesota, but I've been traveling around the U.S. for the last few years, working and adventuring along the way. I do seasonal work as a bike mechanic and a wilderness trail guide in addition to freelance writing jobs as they come along. My primary passions in life are learning as much as possible, experiencing new things, meeting new people and building new relationships, and pushing myself to achieve more than I ever have before. My favorite activities right now are rock and ice climbing, trail running, bike touring, and reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone to school in Iceland, traveled around Israel, multi-week trips on the Appalachian Trail, led multi-week bike tours in Maine and Nova Scotia.
This summer I ran the Presidential Range Traverse (in the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire) and the Pemigewasset Loop, each in a day!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in English-related fields (writing, editing, history of the language). I've also taught bike maintenance and repair for over three years. I'm absolutely willing to share whatever knowledge I have!
