My name's Rob, I'm 26 years old and currently travelling around Asia with my girlfriend Gabs, 27, for a year. We love meeting new people and seeing new places and we think couchsurfing is the best way to do that! We're very friendly and enthusiastic people who are easy to get along with and incredibly trustworthy and respectful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing, from our perspective, is the ideal way to really understand the culture of a town or city as it comes from a locals point of view. We want to get to know the real city rather than just the touristy hot-spots! We would love to get to know more people from around the world and make new friends! :) We've only couchsurfed a couple of times now but have absolutely loved it and want to do LOTS more :D

We're both big reading enthusiasts, Tony Parsons is a fabulous crime author as well as James Patterson and we love George RR Martin for creating a wonderland of adventure for us to read... We love his detail in his writing!

I am very passionate about music I play the drums and have my Ukele with me while travelling that I often play if you fancy a jam or learning a bit!
