ABOUT ME

I'm 25 years old, and as my occupation states, I'm stuck in a rut. I did the "right thing." I did well in high school, I went to college, and now I'm living the American dream. I have a job that utilizes absolutely 0% of my degree. I'm up to my eyeballs in student loan debt, and I'm living roughly 30 minutes from the town I had lived in since I was 10. I'm DYING to break out of the ordinary grind and experience something new. I love Maine, and I love the community of people I have here, but I crave a new and exciting environment. Even for just a weekend, I want to go someplace I've never been and see what it has to offer!

PHILOSOPHY

I've always been of the belief that if you put enough good out into the world, you'll receive some of that good in return. Call it karma, call it what you will. I don't judge. It's not my place to tell anybody else what to think or do, and I don't expect to be told what to think or do, either. I'm interested in broadening my horizons and partaking in new experiences I wouldn't be able to find here in Maine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never had a couchsurfing experience, but the idea intrigues me! I've always been a big planner. I would never go somewhere without knowing exactly where I'll be staying and what I'll be doing there. I want to shed that quality and become more impulsive. There are SO many interesting people in this world, and I want to meet them all! I want to see and do new things! I want to take a weekend and just GO. Somewhere, anywhere. And I want to learn all there is to learn about wherever I land.
