One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in high school I won an essay contest. The prize was a thousand dollars to realize a dream. My dream was to visit some of the great old baseball stadiums. So I got to visit Fenway Park, Old Comiskey Park, and Wrigley Field. I went to New York but got rained out. I didn't make it all the way to Yankee Stadium. I got rained out at Shea Stadium but I did strike out a conversation with the guy in front of me at Will Call. He was a (at the time) minor celebrity stand up comic. His name was Jerry Seinfeld.
