I'm a student who has recently graduated and works in the Big Apple (NYC). I continue to study while I work. Just looking to help out travelers (preferably with references) and meet nice people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I remember what it was like trying to travel and see places on a tight budget. I work long hours so I may not have too much time to show you around and hang out with you, but I can host you for up to 2-3 days.

1) I prefer to host referenced travelers with completed profiles.

2) If you travel with a friend, please make sure your friend has a completed profile and is verified too.

3) I do not smoke so my apartment is a smoke-free zone but you can step outside for puff if you smoke.

If this is alright with this, please feel free to get in touch with me and we can talk more. I work and study so I may not have a lot of time to hang out and show you around but I can definitely host you and hopefully get to know about you, your country and make a new friend.

Interests

Music, particularly world music that isn't on the Pop charts. I listen to a little bit of everything but love the era that produced the Sounds of Silence.

I enjoy a good thriller with plenty of plot twists. Movies have become predictable so if you know one plays with your mind, feel free to share it with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I enjoy all things about flight and take any chance I get to fly small aircraft and helicopters. I've been told I'm like a kid in a candy store when I'm in a flight/aviation museum.

Teach, Learn, Share

I moved a lot growing up and lived in a few countries. I enjoy learning how people can be diverse and yet have so many similarities. I also enjoy watching people experience a culture shock, which I find amusing and informative at the same time.
