ABOUT ME

My best mate often calls me 'the dumbest smart person he has ever met''.
I tend to live inside my own head a little too much which is why when people notice me accidently say something to myself out loud on the street, I quickly pretend that I've been singing all along. At least singing is less weird than mumbling to yourself.
I love singing and dancing but usually only dance where I can't been seen, which is undoubtedly for the best.
A guy once said that I was 'too boring too imitate' (he wasn't the nicest guy I've ever met)
I cannot handle drink very well, and get tipsy quite fast, so although I'm Irish I'm not a good drinker....

PHILOSOPHY

I've yet to develop a personal philosophy, I think I'm too naive of the world, I've lived a sheltered existance in Ireland and I need plently more life experiences before I decide what's important to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've yet to participate in CS yet. So far I've just created my page, which although it has taken 3hours so far it doesn't really count as participating, but as soon as my first trip or activity is over I'll update this and let you all know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've yet to have a CS experience but have heard great things and can't wait to get started.
I'd love if my host had animals, especially cats and dogs, I don't have any but I love them so if my host handsome that'd be fantastic!!

兴趣

I've a huge interest in sports. I play rugby, football and especially love golf, for it's challenge, demand for practice and the satisfaction you can gain from it.
I also really like basketball, but I suck at it... I once played for my school basketball team for two years when I was 13/14 and I never once scored a basket during a game.

音乐、电影和书籍

I find it very easy to get sucked into a book and I can happily spend ages reading, utterly unaware of what's going on around me. I spent two years of my life reading thru a giant fantasy series, but also read thrillers, non fiction and of course have a special place in my childhood heart (and occasionly my adult one) for the Harry Potter books.
I'm not hugely into film since I usually watch them in patches over a couple days but I love a film with a twist or one that makes you think. I few I've watched recently and enjoyed are 'Shutter Island', and 'Donnie Darko'. The latter is a film which awoke opinions in me that I never knew I had.
Oh and I love Futuramawith a passion.
My music tastes are strange to say the least, but I like to think anyone can find something to enjoy on my iPod. I rarely listen to music post 2000, and most of my personal favourites are cheesy 80s pop songs.
My favourite album is The Black Album by Metallica. And currently my favsong is probly Cat Stevens, Father and Son.
Oh and I can't help but shout out the words to songs as loud as i can when I'm driving along in my car.

What might seem amazing to one person can be mundane to someone else, so while I don't think I've done anything that qualifies, you'll have to talk to me and hear about some of my experiences before you can decide if it's amazing or not....

I cud teach you a small amount of Japanese, though I recommend you learn more. 日本語が好きですよ。
I cud also answer some sporting trivia so if a table quiz team is short a member with sporting knowledge I'm your man. Now that I mention I do love a good table quiz.
