ABOUT ME

I work in a research group that tries to understand a particular group of plant diseases. I'm a terrible biologist though, as I can barely keep our garden alive! Amy and I are living in wonderful Montreal while she finishes her Masters of Law at McGill.

I love biology, running, cycling, swimming and yoga.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CS in Feb 2013, so (at time of writing) and just hosted occasional travellers. I'm excited to see what it's like on the other side with a trip to Portland/Vancouver early 2016.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Swimming in the lake at Hallstatt, Austria. My friends and I were sick of the train, so we decided to get off at the next stop, having no idea where we were. We found a ferry and travelled across to the town. It was summer, and Hallstatt is easily the most beautiful place I have ever been. Publishing my first academic paper was pretty monumental for me.

I can tell you a great deal about molecular biology, how genes work and what DNA is. I can teach you a little bit of yoga, but I'm really only starting on that path myself.

Amy is obsessed with food, and can whip up amazing vegan fare with whatever veges are available - a real skill.
