HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Basically I'm in CS to meet new people, because I love meeting random people! Is the best experience you can have since my point of view. I love to host people and know new people when I travel, CS gave friends for life, and always makes me think there's a lot of nice people in this planet, every time I meet somebody is a new box of stories and adventures. I always try to host as much people as I can.

I think it's amazing when you go to another country with another culture and can go out to know the city with a person from there. My hosts helped me so much in every city I have been, and showed me the the most important thing in a trip, the culture, I like it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a lot of good experiences and few bad...

I have to tell you the most incredible experience... One of my hosts was a really great person, his apartment was so confortable and he is a really smart, polite, and funny guy, he helped me and said... "Ok I need to go out to a party but if you want to go out take the keys and please be careful, and remember, the last metro is at 2:00 am" (Obviously I missed the last metro haha) ...But the most important is... Who gives you his keys apartment without knowing you?... And so much more, that kind of experiences makes you feel that there is still good people with good feelings around the world.

And this is the bad part...
One night I didn't have a place to sleep and all the hostels were full! And the bad experience was when one girl told me that she could host me and I felt safe, she said "call me at night"... I called her and she didn't answer, after one of her friends answered the cellphone and told me... Oh sorry she is very busy to answer you (Which I find okay but... all of them were laughing at me) That night I slept in a square. but I want to take that like an experience to make the difference and help people when they need it.
