Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Try living in an empty apartment in Reykjavik for two years, especially in winter, then you'll get it ;-)

No, but seriously:
I like to meet new people, and a friend of mine told me the CS community is the best. Also, it just seems like a terrible waste to have an unused couch in downtown Reykjavik. So it's a win-win situation!

And who knows? Maybe some day I will get a chance to couchsurf my way through America or Europe?
