ABOUT ME

We are from the US and have been traveling separately and together for the past 2 years. We just arrived from Guatemala where we spent the past 6 months living in San Marcos La Laguna. We love to meet new people, entertain, cook, try new things and explore new cultures.

We are both fun, talkative and interactive people. We love small hikes,terrific restaurants, good wine, cold beer, yoga and bikes! We seem to make wonderful friends everywhere we go and always feel blessed because of this.

We met in Guatemala and have both been smiling ever since!

PHILOSOPHY

Following our heart rather than our heads...which has taken us on some amazing, life changing adventures. Don't worry. Be happy. Choose love.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We live in and manage a small posada (hostel) and have convinced the owners to allow us to offer a couch to surfers....usually a bed in our dorm...but also we can give super discounted rates to CSers if you wish to stay on.... We love to share our home with fellow travelers and seekers....and are thrilled to be a part of the thriving CS community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have met our very best friends here in San Cris thru Couchsurfing....and we are happy to give back by hosting as often as we can. So far we have had an amazing time with CSers at the posada...which is where we work and live...and we look forward to meeting many new friends in the future!

We have a small movie library on our laptop and we enjoy a variety of genres. Robb's favorite movie is Open Range and he loves to read just about anything he can get his hands on. His most recent favorite book was Kite Runner. Rebecca is a spiritual esoteric junkie!

Rebecca climbed Kilimanjaro with her sixty year old mother and they were the last ones to the top.....But, "They made it!". Robb's numerous daredevil activities seem to provide good laughs for most of our friends (Stories to be shared at a later date and over a cold frosty beer!).

Rebecca can teach Yoga or share her esoteric/spiritual knowledge about the nature of the physical journey which our soul is having here on planet earth. She can also do a tarot session with you or help improve your English. Robb will make you laugh until you cry with his stories and can trade recipes with you if you like to cook!
