I work as a Learning Development Specialist for a real estate company. I spend my weekdays conducting corporate training programs, reading books (fiction, self-help), taking long walks, and watching TV series.

My ideal weekends are composed of out-of-town trips to the beach, falls or nearby cities. I spent the latest holiday snorkeling in the beautiful waters of Apo Island and kayaking on a serene lake.

I've been living alone since I was nineteen but genuinely enjoy other people's company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't couchsurfed before, but I'm used to staying at hostels when I travel. I find being room mates with new faces fun and interesting. My interactions with people from different parts of the world have been life-changing.

I'm interested to try couchsurfing for it would be great to see things in a foreign land through the eyes of someone who lives there. Likewise, I'd love to show travelers around when they're in my hometown.

My all-time favorite book has got to be Harper Lee's 'To Kill a Mockingbird'.

I have a really long list of movies I love, but to name a few: 'The Shawshank Redemption', 'Freedom Writers', 'Grave Of The Fireflies', 'Hide & Seek'...

My playlist is filled with ballad, country, R&B and some pop music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It feels amazing when I get the chance to help people change the way they see certain life situations. I've been told countless times that I make a good adviser or confidante. I draw my advices from personal experiences as life was relatively tough growing up. Through the training sessions I run, I get the opportunity to influence mindset, promote positive attitude and model ideal interactions.

I believe that the most amazing thing we can do is make a difference in other people's lives, and I live everyday trying to make a difference in my own little ways.
