I'm a South African from Cape Town, currently staying in Boston to study Computer Science at Harvard. Like most Capetonians (people from Cape Town) I'm pretty laidback in my approach to life, but I also enjoy going out, doing fun things and challenging my comfort zone. I'd say three words to describe me as a traveller would be: considerate, adventurous and easygoing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I'm on a five week study abroad in Léon, studying Spanish. Afterwards I have 4 weeks before my next semester starts and I'm going to use that time to travel Europe - Portugal, France, Netherlands, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey. To me CS seems like the prefect way to travel - allowing me to meet interesting locals and learn more about the different cultures and people in Europe.

Interests

I think just about everything can be interesting and I'm always eager to learn more. I find people very interesting and always find it rewarding to chat about their views on the world, politics, life's purpose, other people, the weather etc. I absolutely love sports and have competed in Rugby, Water Polo, Football, Field Hockey and Cricket. I also love reading, traveling and food.
Most importantly, I love wine!
