ABOUT ME
I am a medievalist, I read old Norse and my specialisations are codicology and historical linguistics.
I play the piano a bit, I used to do fencing and I am very fond of cycling.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything matters, it's nice to get involved and care for what is going on around you. It's very important to share opinions and be ready to change one's mind when it's worthwhile. Solitude is often essential and makes you appreciate social life more.

Interests

Languages, particularly Celtic and Scandinavian ones, middle ages, medieval literature, anthropology, fencing, classical music, folk music, scottish music, travelling, poetry, but I am also quite update with the current political and economic events, both in the EU and abroad. I can't be an expert in every field but I try to wipe off as much ignorance as I can from my brain, so I will willingly listen to anything interesting you have to say.

I know Italian very well and I privately taught english to middle, high school, and university students. I've got quite a good knowledge of linguistics and history. I am very interested in Scottish, Norwegian and Icelandic history and literature, and I am always looking for reference books and essay regarding those fields.
