Overview
About Me
READ MY PROFILE and see do we have anything in common. Do not send me requests more than 2 weeks in advance, ideally no more than one week as I have no idea how busy I'm going to be.
If you are coming to Dublin to look for work or study please don't request a couch, I hate to ask people to leave if they have no place to go and I don't want to host (most) people for weeks at a time.
( past experiences have taught me this).
That being said, I own a tourist office in Temple Bar and can give you all the information you need, as an experienced tour guide I know the best places, the cheapest eats and will even give you a special CS discount on any tours that you are interested in doing.
This new system messed up my ability to mess with people's head so maybe you should check out my old profile here

CURRENT MISSION
to find enough time and money to travel to all the places I wish to see
ABOUT ME
PLEASE READ MY COUCH INFO BEFORE REQUESTING A COUCH
I grew up in the North of Ireland during a very interesting time and learned to see things from the other side and I love to discuss and debate almost any subject. I have found myself living in several places in my life, in both Ireland and overseas, I returned home a few years ago and do miss the multi-cultural communities from when I lived in Canada.
I have lived and interesting, if unconventional life,if it can happen to someone, that would be me. have lots of stories to share and love to hear other peoples life experiences.
I am an easy going person who is comfortable in both large groups and 1 on 1 situations, I can talk the leg off a donkey, so if you like your ass with legs attached. Beware...;-)
I am a bit of an adrenalin junkie, if the challenge is there, I am up for it, I am easily led astray and tend to lead others right along with me.

I often take surfers for their first Pint of Guinness, a must do when travelling to Ireland and know where the best pints in town are poured. So if you want to lose your Guinness virginity with an expert, just ask, and I'll be happy to oblige
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had only positive experiences from couchsurfing, The amazing interesting people I've met would never have happened without CS
I have been amazed by the type of people I have met through this site, I have been actively host....what an experience. I have surfed and also also been attending events and also organising them.
Found out the logistics required arrange a meeting and to host 25 surfers for a weekend on beds, floor space and tents in the garden, feeding them and transporting them is well worth the effort.......... what a weekend, where else could you find such a diverse group who are instantly friends?
Interests
I have many interests including traveling, scuba, surfing, socialising, hanging with friends for a few beers, international politics and current affairs,
other cultures. I could be tempted into trying almost anything at least once
Music, Movies, and Books
Anything
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
hand feeding sharks in the open water and getting paid for it on a daily basis
Teach, Learn, Share
Irish History, culture and life. I am a tour guide and if I'm around will happily give you a tour of Dublin or refer you to one of my friends who does Free Walking Tours.
I taught scuba diving in the Bahamas and in Canada but do not dive in Ireland I am a warm water woossy..sorry, but you might get me into snorkeling....
Sharing in others lifes experiences will teach you so much about life and in doing so will you'll learn more about yourself, sharing yours will teach others about themselves, so sit down and lets have a long chat
