ABOUT ME
I love conversation and discussion. My friends often accuse me of arguing on both sides of an issue or saying "I don't know" too much. This is because I alternate between being antagonistic and being agnostic.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started surfing in Europe and had some great experiences there. Now I'm home and unfortunately can't host but would love to meet new people. I'm hoping I will have the chance to host people in the future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Andrejs and his flatmate Ilze were my first CS hosts. They are such great people. Very funny and warm.
To indicate how great Andrejs is... when I was coming to Riga I told him I would hitchhike and he advised me against it. After hours of trying it turned out he was right - it was impossible to hitchhike in that situation - so I took a bus (his original recommendation) and only arrived at midnight because I had wasted so much time. Despite my arrogance and the inconvenience to him (he had to work the next day) he was waiting at the bus station to take me home. I couldn't have had a better host for my first time!
Now Andrejs is a good friend and I hope to see him in Australia some time. Hopefully I have improved as a guest since that first time!
兴趣
At the moment travelling is my life. I'm fairly new to it but I fell in love almost immediately and I'm hoping to continue as long as I can. When I'm not carrying all of my possessions on my back you can find me talking, drinking, reading or playing computer games.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I travelled by myself from Japan to Poland _without flying_. I saw old friends and met new people. I was hosted and fed by strangers. I left the Southern Hemisphere for the first time. I saw snow for the first time. It was the single best experience in my life.
教,学,和分享
A common French phrase for 'cheers' is 'chin-chin'. Don't say this in Japan unless you want to call everyone dicks.
