CURRENT MISSION

So here's the story. I'm on a journey home to be with my little sister who is in the end stages of cancer. We have a huge, loving, family that is all gathering in the DC area for this transnational moment. I have decided to drive, alone, from my home in Portland, OR to my sister's in Maryland. I want to photobog my journey home to Helene, calm my soul, and create a final journey that the rest of my family can share and participate in when I arrive. Every place and everyone along the way will be integral to my ultimate calm acceptance of life in all its grandeur and grief. We are a family who laughs, a lot, so this is not about a moribund sense of doom; more an over abundance of joy at the how large the world is and how lucky we are to be in it.

Semi-retired in profession but totally engaged in living. Photographer, writer, explorer, adventurist and all around fun company or solitudinal recluse, whatever the occasion requires.
