About Me
Hello community,
I am Robert (31) and I will be on my first longer cycling trip across Europe for the next 3-4 months. I am originally from Munich but live now in Berlin where I have also finished my studies and started my first job. Luckily my employer gave me the opportunity to take an unpaid leave in order to make my dream come true and to cycle around the world - okay, due to the pandemic it will only be Europe but being fully vaccinated, I will bring my certificate and will anyway mainly cycle through nature trying to avoid Hostels. My initial plan is now to start in Hamburg and to cycle along the coast down to Amsterdam and further to the south of France.
I am so excited to see the beautiful countryside and getting to know friendly people from all the great countries along my road. Europe has so much to offer and there is so much to see! I am looking forward getting to know the community, friendly people with interesting stories and contributing to your adventures.
In general, I am quite flexible and easy to accommodate. Your garden to set up my tent is already great, everything on top amazing. I am happy to share my stories and I am curious about yours as well as your tips about your region.
Looking forward meeting you :)
Robert
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just like meeting new people from all over the world and obviously reactivated my account as I am on a 3-months sabbatical cycling through Europe.
Listening to stories of young travelers, sharing thoughts, experiences and get to know new cultures. These are the best evenings!!!
Interests
You could have guessed - I love cycling and exploring parts of a city/country you would elsewise not see.
Other then that, I enjoy all kind of sports and like to try out new things. Recently, I have learned windsurfing and hit some golf balls on the driving range. The field of sports is wide open :))))

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping on a parking lot in Key West (Florida) as we had to escape the mosquitoes in the national park. As we did not want to afford a hotel for 5 hours, we just stayed on the parking lot and rolled out our camping matress right next to the car. In the morning, we got offered some money like we were obviously looking a bit lost and probably homeless after one night on the asphalt.
