I'm in my mid 30's, I'm into cars, audiobooks (Red Rising, ExForce, Dungeon Crawler Carl...) and craft beers (Stouts and sours) I've been in the Army almost 18 years in SOF, Aviation, and Cyber-Security, got a couple of cool stories. Married, no kids, 2 cats. Couple of odd cars. I'm pretty sociable, and I figured this is better way to travel than staying in hotels or campsites.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Retiring from the Army, felt like doing a roadtrip across the U.S. as my retirement gift to myself. Hotels are expensive and boring. I don't exactly enjoy paying $100/night just for a bed, a shower, and a mediocre gym that I'm only going to spend 8 - 10 hours in. Same goes for $20 at time at a campsite. I'd rather spot someone a case of beer and some fun stories for a night on a couch and a quick shower than be old fashioned.
