Overview
About Me
Easy going, friendly, looking to understand the world like a local. Fluent in Spanish, y no solo el "spanglish". French and Portuguese get tangled up in my Spanish skills since I don't have a reason to practice them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling around the world (literally) on a budget with a 25lb backpack. Itinerary:
Santiago, CL (star-gazing north and hiking south)
Lisbon, PT (scuba diving!)
Phnom Penh, KH (spending a week with my cousin!)
Perth, AU (biking 300+ miles!)
Honolulu, US (skydiving!)
San Francisco (back home!)
Interests
Biking, Board Gaming, Bartending, just to keep with the "B" theme. Ultimate frisbee, classical guitar, cooking, travel (obviously).

Music, Movies, and Books
Search for the song "koyunbaba bar patillas" and listen to it. Read "The Mastery of Love" by Don Miguel Ruiz. Watch "Leon - The Professional" or "The Wool Cap" if you're looking for a good movie nobody's seen.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba dive in a cenote in the Yucatan peninsula in a "halocline" - the separation of salt-water and fresh-water where they don't mix, like oil and water.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll leave you with a drink recipe you're sure to like if you're into that type of stuff. I know a lot about technology and love giving advice on how a few simple products or tweaks can improve your daily life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to cook share a meal with you, cooking or going out depending on your lifestyle. I make a great spaghetti carbonara and bruschetta.
