Currently staying in Ecuador teaching English at a small school in Zamora. Looking to stay here or elsewhere in Ecuador for a little while then see about moving on elsewhere in South America, possibly Peru, Costa Rica or Belize.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I have been thinking of living abroad and considering how to go about it. I would love to experience different people and places and cultures as I decide where I may eventually go. I am also big on helping others and volunteering and trying to make the world a better place. This includes the environment and conservation. Couchsurfing seems like an incredible place to find all these things and is filled with great opportunities to do all of the above in so many places all around the world.

I am looking for work also, as eventually I will have to settle in and work after any volunteering and workstays I take part in. If anyone out there is hiring please let me know. I can certainly teach English and music (guitar) and I have extensive customer service/sales experience in a variety of jobs. Also have worked in restaurants and cafes, do manual labor (and still will) and currently work for a home improvement company so I know a bit about roofing, siding, masonr, etc...

Written a play based on a classic rock album - written/co-written over 100 songs and been published - had airplay locally, nationally and internationally - owned and operated a record label and released EP and CD of my band. Have created, organized and hosted benefits for various local and national childhood cancer organizations and charites.
