About Me

CURRENT MISSION To meet the most progressive, fun, open minded individuals on the planet ABOUT ME We are a very progressive family of four. We have five cats & one rabbit. We have a 16 yr old daughter and a 17 yr old Japanese exchange student. We eat meat, vegan, vegetarian dishes at any given moment. Though we are Jewish we do not keep kosher. We unschool our daughter, and we all love to meet new and interesting people. PHILOSOPHY We are put on this planet to learn, love and live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love to host and be hosted!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first experience was with Ariel - a wonderful human being. We definitely learned a lot from him, and we really enjoyed his spirit.
Enjoyed hosts in Rochester, NY that we keep in touch with. Hosted a french couple and a British gal that we really enjoyed!

Interests

We're foodies!! We love alternative movies (you name it except for gore - no I don't mean Al Gore). Musical tastes range from Alternative for the wife, Progressive Metal for the hubby, and whatever makes you dance for the 16 yr old. We love old time Jazz, Blues, Classical and sometimes just plain Rock. Our main interests are bicycling, learning new things and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listed some of the music already. Movies - too many to list, most are not mainstream films - anything good and mostly foreign, or Alternative lifestyles, or documentaries on eating healthy, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our trip over to North Yorkshire, England. We saw such beautiful scenery, met many warm people, walked many places.

Teach, Learn, Share

Though most may already know this: Life is not about how much money you have or what material items you own, rather it is about the friendships you make, the love you make, the people you touch, the people who touch you.

What I'd like to learn is anything I don't already know. Sounds simple, but that includes a lot of stuff. I know I can't know everything, so just whatever comes up until the day I die.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Israel, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
