Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a friendly, open minded person always willing to try new things also respectful of a person's need for privacy. I don't mind helping with household chores or whatever is necessary (within reason ha ha) in order to pull my weight around the house. I am sociable and at the moment trying to get active too.

Cycled to Nottingham and back with very little training (60 miles)

Teach, Learn, Share

I volunteered with citizens advice so I try and help disadvantaged or anyone in need of advice, from debt and housing to family or consumer law, anything and everything really. I have children so I like to pass on any wisdom I have gained, such as subject choices at school, work experience and how to deal with people socially, such as bullies and how not to rise to them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good sense of humor, an eclectic music taste. As I am from Sheffield, I can guide anyone who does not know the area in where to go and what to do. Especially the best places to eat and find decent entertainment such as concerts and sports events. I also have good knowledge of where to participate in sport and other leisure activities. I can also advise on more mundane everyday knowledge such as buses and trains as well as the best pubs in Sheffield!
