My name is Robert Jelen, I am 23 years old. I study the Erasmus program at MCI, faculty of management and business. I come from Prague, Czech Republic. I like to play sports (football, hockey), walking around the city or countryside, hang out with a friend and talk about life experiences. I'm a huge fan of Elon Musk and space technology. I enjoy discovering new places and travelling. For instance this year I had the opportunity to visit the USA, Jamaica, Cayman island, Mexico, Bahamas, England and Poland, so I like to learn about the experiences of others. In Innsbruck, I’m looking forward to seeing the mountains because I love hiking and skiing. Then I want to learn something about new cultures and people, so hopefully, we can share a lot of interesting stories.

I have also experience in housing with other people, so I'm used to making compromises, always try to avoid conflicts and try to be cool.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a student of Erasmus program, which is an international program for students who want to study abroad. I'm looking for couch surfing accommodations for a few days before I get my own accommodation. I would be really grateful for that because right now I have to travel here from Prague a couple of times per week.

I like to read some motivational books or books describing some important moment in our history (WW2).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My last summer trip when I travelled a part of the USA, Jamaica, where I jumped from 10 meters to the lagoons, Cayman Islands where I was diving in coral reefs with rays, Mexico, where I visited Mayan pyramids and saw lots of exotic animals in Florida sailed only a few meters from the alligators and experienced night chaos in New York. All this travelling was one of the most amazing things I had.

I can learn how to save a lot of money during travelling (since I have some experience), teach how to cook some typical Czech food, help you with English.
